Office of Disability Concerns

Disability Concerns, a unit of the Student Affairs Division, is the office that is designated to provide approved accommodation services to students, faculty, staff and visitors with disabilities. To receive services from Disability Concerns, appropriate medical/psycheducational documentation must be provided. Accommodations provided may include, but are not limited to: testing accommodations, sign language interpreters, readers, scribes, notetakers, assistive technologies and materials in alternative format. Any person needing accommodations can contact Disability Concerns.

Parking

All student vehicles occupying University parking facilities must have a parking permit or decal. You may obtain a permit at the Office of Parking and Transportation.

Redbird Card (University Identification Card)

As a registered Illinois State University student, you are required to have a university identification card. The Redbird Card is being made in the Redbird Card Office.

You must present a photo ID (i.e., driver’s license, passport, etc.) in order to get a Redbird Card.  The first card is free.  If your card is broken, the cost is $5 to replace it.  Lost/stolen IDs are $15 to replace.  There is no charge to replace a Redbird Card for a person with a name change, change of student status from undergraduate to graduate, or if the card is four years old or older.
 
The Redbird Card permits the use of the University Library System, Student Health Services, and Campus Recreation Facilities.  Campus Dining meal plan money is accessed through this card and money may be added to the card for bookstore purchases, copies, laser printing, parking, transcript orders, etc.
