Financial Information

Late Registration Fee

Students who register for the first time on or after the first scheduled day of classes for the semester will be assessed a $25.00 late registration fee.

Resident and Non-Resident Status

A student under eighteen years of age is a non-resident if his/her parents are not legal residents of the state of Illinois. A student over eighteen years of age is a non-resident if he/she is not a legal resident of the state of Illinois at the time of registration. When applying for in-state residency, Petition for Change in Residency Status form, along with copies of required documentation,  may be returned to the Student Service and Referral Center, 107 Moulton Hall, or mailed to Campus Box 2202, Normal, IL  61790-2202. Off-Campus Fee Reduction Request

Students anticipating an absence from campus due to their program of study for an entire semester may be eligible for a partial fee reduction. Visit the off-campus fee reduction section of this website for more information.
