Academic Policies & Procedures
SUMMER & FALL Advance Registration: March 17 through April 18. Register at your assigned date and time or any time thereafter. You will receive an e-mail sent to your Illinois State University address reminding you to check the iCampus Portal on March 3 for your specific registration date and time. The iCampus Portal will be available for registration Monday through Friday from 7am until 10pm; Saturday from 7am until 4pm; and on Sunday from noon until 4pm. Students registering only for evening classes (5pm or later) may register on March 17 and 18 from 5pm until 10pm. |

SUMMER Registration and Program Change: May 1 - May 12
Confirmation of Attendance for Summer session is due May 9th. Please see “Confirmation of Attendance” for further details.
SUMMER Late Registration: May 13 - End of Summer Session
All registration must be done in person, 107 Moulton Hall, after May 12. If unable to register in person, please call the Student Service and Referral Center, (309) 438-2188 for further instructions.
FALL Registration and Program Change: June 2 - July 18
Students who did not advance register in March or April may complete new registrations from June 2 through July 18 by using the iCampus Portal. If a student registers for the spring semester on or after July 18, the student is obligated to pay all tuition and fees by the deadline on the bill unless there is an official withdrawal from the university by the appropriate dates as defined in the refund policy.
Help yourself by making every attempt to finalize your classes for Fall during advance registration and program change period.
Confirmation of Attendance for the Fall semester is due by August 1. Please see "Confirmation of Attendance" for further details.
August Registration and Program Change: August 11 - August 17
The iCampus Portal will be available for students to complete new registrations or make program changes according to the following schedule:

Fall Late Registration and Program Change: August 18 - End of semester
Students who register for the first time on or after the first scheduled day of classes for the semester (August 18, 2008) will be assessed a $25 late registration fee.
Students may process a late registration or program change according to the following schedule:
August 18 - 22...Late registration using the iCampus Portal 7am-10pm.
August 23 - 29...Students may add a course (with department approval) or drop a course by using the iCampus Portal.
Note: After August 29...you must register in person at the Student Service & Referral Center, Moulton Hall 107. BRING PHOTO ID.
You must drop classes if you do not plan to attend. If you fail to drop a class and you do not attend, you will receive an F. Instructors do not drop classes for students.
