You may change your address in any of the following ways:
NOTE: Graduating Seniors and Graduate Students--Address Changes for Diplomas: To change the address for the diploma, please contact Evaluation Services, at 309-438-2282. If notifying by mail, include your University Identification Number and sign the request. Requests should be mailed to: Evaluation Services, Campus Box 2202, Normal, IL 61790-2202.
Changes of address for University residence halls and University-owned apartments are maintained online by staff in the University Housing Services. Note: addresses for employees are maintained by Human Resources and can be updated through iPeople.
Due to the danger of identity theft, persons who wish to change their first, middle, or last names on their transcripts or diplomas must provide a copy of their marriage license, a court order, or a dissolution decree certifying their name change. Please send a photocopy of one of these documents, a copy of a photo ID and your written or faxed request to the Registrar Service Center. We cannot accept only a copy of your current driver's license or social security card. Please be sure to sign this request as without your signature, we cannot process your name change.

You may change/correct your birthdate by contacting Academic Records at 309-438-2198.
If your social security number is incorrect, report the error to the Registrar Service Center, Moulton Hall, Room 107. Please note: a signed social security card as well as a photo ID is required to initiate this correction. Staff will correct the social security number and report the corrected SSN to several offices on campus who utilize information from the various files. Use the incorrect social security number until you receive notification that the correction has been made. The systems to correct social security numbers are run nightly.
