Final examinations should be given and taken at the scheduled times
Permission to change the time for an examination must be obtained by the
instructor. Final examinations will be given in the rooms in which the classes
have been meeting for regular class work unless other arrangements have been
authorized by the Scheduling Office.
Number of examinations in one day
Students who have no more than two examinations scheduled for the same day will be expected to take these examinations as scheduled. A student concerned about having more than two final examinations scheduled for the same day should address this concern prior to finals week. Please do the following:
Length of examination
The length of the examination period is determined by the number of semester
hours of credit received for a course. Forty (40) minutes per semester
hour credit is considered appropriate. The final examination schedule
below is designed for examinations no longer than 120 minutes. Any professor
who wishes to examine for a period longer than 120 minutes must telephone the
Scheduling Office (438-8680) to make room arrangements.
Calendars and Final Examinations
Final exams for Summer Session courses take place the last day of class.
