National Guard Grant

Applicant must be on active duty status and have served for at least one year in the Illinois National Guard. Recipient is entitled to receive payment of tuition and eligible fees for undergraduate or graduate study at Illinois 2- or 4-year public colleges. The grant can be used for a period equivalent to 8 semesters of full-time enrollment with a maximum usage of 96 units. An application must be filed for each academic year with the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC). This website provides additional information and downloading of the current application. Upon approval, an eligibility letter will be mailed to the applicant.

A copy of the Eligibility Letter must be submitted immediately to the Financial Aid Office, Fell Hall 231.
